Interest Groups
As a member of HTAi, you are invited to join one or more of the HTAi Interest Groups (IGs) to share international experiences and expertise among HTA users and producers worldwide.
The IGs serve as professional and scientific forums for all those who undertake and use HTA in health care, business, government, academic institutions and consultancies. The IGs provide a unique environment for HTAi members to network and exchange information, and to collaborate on projects of mutual interest throughout the year. Members share topic updates, participate in the development of new research and useful materials, and conduct workshops and training sessions. There are also opportunities for IG members to be involved in activities directly funded by HTAi.
As one of the major strategic priorities of HTAi, the IGs are governed by the Interest Group Steering Committee (IGSC). The IGSC advises and makes recommendations to the HTAi Board of Directors on
- engagement with IGs members,
- prioritization of topics and project work,
- implementation of training programs and shared learning platforms,
- processes and operations of the IGs, and
- sharing of information among the IGs and other HTAi committees and working groups.
Over time, HTAi members have established and strengthened the IGs as a way of achieving a thriving international Society. Approximately 60 per cent of the Society’s membership are members of one or more of the IGs, which range from 150 to 550 members per group.

How to join
Involvement in the IGs is open to all HTAi members with current membership, which allows you to join the IG mailing lists to receive notifications about IG activities and opportunities to get more involved in specific working groups and projects.
